Backup Appliances and Disaster Recovery Appliances Our backup appliances are labeled "Recovery-xxx" where "xxx" is a numerical designation. Our backup appliances start with our entry-level small desktop Recovery-171 and are as large as our 3U form factor rack mount Recovery-731.
Each of our appliances comes with one of three "personalities"

This is designated by there being a "v" (this stands for "vaulting") as a suffix, i.e., Recovery-731v is an off-premise disaster recovery appliance.Backup appliance and disaster recovery appliance: Many of our appliances are available as simutaneous backup and disaster recovery configuration. This is designated by there being a "cv" (this stands for "cross-vaulting") as a suffix, i.e., Recovery-731cv is a simultaneous vaulting and cross-vaulting appliance. We also offer D2D2D devices that are used with the backup and disaster recovery appliances on this page for rotational archiving.
