Sound and the Intelligent Classroom

United Systems key element in the Intelligent Classroom is the interaction between the teacher and student. Sound is one of the major influencing factors in this interaction. We can take any room and find the best products to maximize the learning experience for the students. With Media Rich Curriculum (MRC) it is no longer acceptable to have inferior speakers and inaudible lessons.

Looking at the picture on the right, the students seated are not listening to the student presenting. The presenter is face down looking into her folder and not projecting sound into the classroom, and the other students are reacting in a typical fashion when they can not hear. Students are more likely to focus when more of their senses are being used.

There have been studies showing the improvement in test scores, teacher wellness, and key issues regarding sound in the classroom.

We are getting permissions to post these studies and will be added shortly.
