Jones High School has been rebuilt after a fire that burned the school to the ground 2 ½ years ago. The $12 million, 83,000-square-foot building will open to students Aug. 16. Dalton Guthrey, a freshman when the fire wiped out his school. He will be a senior this year. "I think it will help all of us strive to be top-notch,” he said, "but it's not the building that makes our school, it's really the people in the community.”
